Awesome little garden where you can find a trove of rare native plants, ferns and flowers. Enjoy the walk through native trees and hidden gardens, greenhouse and palm house. Definitely worth a visit and bring the kids or dogs.

Fernglen has a broad collection of plants and trees from all over New Zealand, including from offshore islands such as the Kermadecs and Chathams.You would need to climb a lot of mountains and take a lot of boat trips to see all these trees and plants in their natural setting.
