Good swimming hole even when the Pomahaka River is low, tidy mown picnic area with fire boxes. Picnic tables are getting a bit old so bring something to go over top and bring your own toilet paper ;)

One of the most beautiful hidden spots in NZ, very pretty, BBQ and picnic areas, the river is a little chilly though
