Awesome experience! We did a lesson with Corne and had such a good time! There were three people in the group who had never surfed and really enjoyed learning!We got to keep the board for a couple hours and had such a great day.Highly recommend for anyone in the area or doing a day trip from Auckland.

My 10 year old daughter did the 3 day (2 hours each) school holiday programme at Orewa Beach. She absolutely loved it!! The instructors were all so nice and helpful and it was very well run. Next summer my younger daughter wants to give it a go. Def recommend!

Absolutely amazing ultimate surf camp! Kids were for the first time (10 & 8 yr old) and enjoyed every minute of this adventure. We were very well informed daily and knew kids are safe and well taken care off. Fresh food, fun games, surf school, water slide...Boys want to go again, which is the best feedback, we are happy;)

Me and my partner were stoked with our two hour surf lesson in Te Arai over the Easter weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Definitely makes us both want to get into surfing now. Awesome instructor, the weather put on a show for us and the way we were taught was super fun and easy to follow. Thank you, we will be back! :-D

This was the best experience I’ve ever had, instructors are definitely more professional and passionate in transferring the techniques and skills to us compared to my first experience with another surfing school. Facility wise, it is not as convenient and complete, would recommend to bring extra bottles of water to do your cleaning job.

Just had such an awesome women’s surf and yoga retreat weekend. One of the best weekends I’ve ever had! Fun, beautiful accommodation glamping in a tipi, thoughtful food, amazing yoga space, and I learnt so much in the two surf lessons we had. Beth, the instructor, was sensational all weekend - such a lovely soul and she went above and beyond to make our weekend super special. Highly recommend and great value for money. Thanks heaps guys!

Great friendly team. my daughter gained a lot more confidence and skills. she started surfing with youtube but with Aotraroa team's help, she is much better at choosing the right timing, quick stand up on the board, smoother ride. even the weather wasn't helping much we enjoyed it alot. she told me after the last session that she wants to surf surf surf.

This camp was fabulous! First words my daughter (10y/o) said when we picked her up was Please can I come again next year?" I'm a worry wart sort of mum and had planned to camp on the beachside each day while they were in the water. But having seen how well everything was organised

I throughly enjoyed each class and was up on the waves pretty quickly with the expert guidance and teaching from Aotearoa Surf School! We learnt everything from understand the dynamics of the beach, waves, swells and different techniques on getting up and riding the waves! As thrilling as each lesson was, I couldn't have done it without the teachers. Everything was supplied from the wetsuit to the board and sunblock, which made is super easy for me as a Mum to just turn up and give it a go. Hands down a five star experience. Thank you!

All positive, was a great experience with a top quality supervisor. We did the private lesson and learn everything we needed to know pretty quickly, so we were out on the water most of the 2 hours. Instructor was really engaging, easy to learn from and helped us both move at a pace that was good for us. Will definitely be coming back again!! Thanks a lot
