Bennett Road Carpark Timber Trail
Was a great first trail ride with Epic Cycle Adventures in this area. Beautiful scenery, fun downhill racing and very comfortable glamping Midway during the ride. Will definitely do it again.

Bennett Road Carpark Timber Trail
Car park for the Timber trail. Four stars because Camp epic and their shuttle are fantastic. And they have a great place to clean your muddy bike.Plus they lock off their section to give a bit of security for your vehicle. So Camp epic gets five stars for their section.Mowed lawns and shade. Some people were camping there evidently.Minus one because the long drop toilet is horrible. ( I think that’s DOC). Other DOC longdrops on the trail were much cleaner. Someone had tried to be helpful by leaving some hand sanitizer but it was empty soon.

Great cycling company Epic Cycles took care of everything for us. They shuttled us up to the Lodge and looked after our car when we were on the trail. They are setting up a glamping experience near the lodge which is definitely going to be on our list for the next trip.

Super flat with space for a fair few tents, 2 picnic tables and helpful hut with (non-potable) water and cooking bench if weather is bad. Standard DOC long drop toilet. A very welcome campsite if you've hiked the Timber Trail to this point

Toilet and shelter available. End of Timber Trail bike ride. Hose available for bike washing - gold coin donation to farmer for water supply. Can hire bikes from here as well. Gravel car park but locked at night I believe.

This is just breathe taking loved the walk through here wish there were some picnic tables in places to sit and enjoy the views

Bennett Road Carpark Timber Trail
A very good 2-days trail. Love the downhills and a challenging uphills. Good views especially passing through the well-known long suspension bridges.
