What an incredible idea having a fairy door hunt. The full track of 50 mins went by without a complaint. The doors were so cute. We did get off track a few times so the walking track could have had some signs.

Fantastic forest walk. Good paths well signposted. Beautiful and peaceful area with plenty of birdlife. Magical fairy doors is great for kids. What a wonderful place for a walk with the kids.

Great trails through pine forest. Great for dog walking on lead. There are also cycle paths for bikes. Best of all were the many fairy doors to discover. Next to the forest is an off lead fenced off dog area where dogs are free to run around.

What a great place for a walk with the kids..I say walk..but the kids pretty much ran the whole time enjoying the made shelters and searching for the beautiful fairy doors. A lovely place for little minds and bodies:)

Go and see the fairy Forrest, all ages can bike this track. Our less confident 5 yrold did this little track with us.If you go straight the whole way and come out near the train track, turn right and follow the other track back (it will be a wider walking track) and is fine to bike through.

Fantastic walking track for all abilities and leashed dogs. The Family (and dogs) always excited for a walk through the forest and a visit to the dog park next door.

If you are one of low mobility or a runner this is the place for you.If you are grandparents with little ones looking for fairy houses amoung the many tall trees this is the place for you.If you are just looking for a fantastic walk in the company of tall magestic trees take photos of all this is the place oh heck if you are breathing and can move this place is a must. Take my word this is a MUST VISIT PLACE. Take a blanket and refreshments and rest while remembering how great the walk was. Thanks to Selwyn Disrict Council for securing this magical forest and walk all to enjoy. By the way count the fairy homes.

Loved the pristine bush walk and beauty of a very tall and majestic trees...Spoilt with a variety of tracks and many thanks to the staff that keep this park open for families bike riders and the not so young...

It's a great place for kids. Go hunting for the fairies. See if you can find all the doors to their tiny little houses. Take a camera if you can. Loads of fun.
