Whitcoulls NorthWest

Had a less than ideal experience with Whitcoulls Northwest. I had purchased a jigsaw puzzle mat which was notably defective. I had brought it to the store for a refund. The store manager too noted that the product was defective, however stated it was ‘fit for service’ and would happily resell the product at full price again.While I am sure that there are many products that would be ‘fit for service’, I found the service here subpar and disappointing. If I were to purchase a chipped bowl, I would hope to receive a refund of the product even though technically it can be eaten from.No apologies, refused to refund and would only provide store credit for a defective product.

There is one woman in particular who was so helpful in helping me get particular books for me. I cant thank her enough. The staff I've found were always really helpful and nice, patiently took the time to help me, and went (what I felt) was put of their way to deliver awesome customer service! Really took the stress out of book hunting for me!

A really good bookshop that still sells books and has lots of other interesting things too. Games, puzzles and heaps of stationary. The staff were really helpful, even though it was incredibly busy, in helping me find a book that I couldn't locate in the store. Really good to still see books and book stores around in malls. Really recommend this branch. Well done all!

The outlet has the best selection of good reads. Every time I visit, i get something interesting to read.

Good store, plenty of choice and often great clearance specials. The store is small though and not very accommodating of prams or wheelchairs so just something to keep in mind if this is something that affects you.

Didn’t have what I was looking for but a few books but the store was tidy and clean. Easy to find items and customer service was great.

Great shop but zero room for disabled people to move around in mobility aids, I actually knocked over a stack of books... People immediately helped to pick them up but the isles are super narrow and its super hard to get around in this store in particular.

Friendly, great ra ve of products, clean, a little pricey.

Whitcoulls in the Norwest mall has the most helpful, friendly, and cheerful staff. They bend over backwards to help you and are ALWAYS ready with a welcoming greeting and remembering your previous visits. As an avid reader and lover of stationary and Journaling, it is my must stop shop every Thursday night.
