Steel Electrical configured and installed a solar panel and battery system for me.They were easy to deal with, great problem solvers and price competitive.They did exactly what they said they would and when.Since the installation they have kept in touch to make sure everything was working as it should.I wouldn’t hesitate in using them againand would recommend you contact them if you are considering a solar panel installation.

Be very careful about dealing with this company. We engaged SSE to conduct some wiring on our property (they were referred to us). We were not provided with an estimate or details of hourly rates. We then received a bill for 18 hours work...2 people at 9 hours each for a job which should have taken half of that. This included 4 hour for the privilege of their workers sitting in Auckland rush hour traffic. When we queried this the owner was arrogant, rude and aggressive even threatening to get Baycorp involved when we refused to pay $126.5. If you are planning to deal with this company...outside of west Auckland...think about engaging someone more local.Follow up to SSE Response: We stand by our review and the only reason that we didn't raise concerns about quality was that we have no means by which to judge it.

Steel came originally to assess the performance of my solar system after I had perceived a deterioration in its performance. Having discovered my warranty would not cover the fix, Steel came and upgraded my system, restoring it to full operation. At all times they behaved in a highly professional and efficient manner and I am glad I chose them to do the job.

We have had our solar installed by Jarrod and his team and what a simple and awesome experince we have had. From the first day Jarrod turned up to listen and talk to us about what we wanted from our solar panels. The due diligence Jarrod took to look at our newly renovated house, and the location of the required install and lay out.
