Clifton Road Reserve
We often stay here when visiting the wineries and it is one of our favourite places but last night being Guy Fawkes night was a mistake. Had to bail at 2230hrs

Pretty good if you don't mind a lot of other campers around, however there's plenty of space to get your own space. Toilets and Water available. Right on the beach

Fabulous free camping spot right in beach front with cycle trail, Haney colony tours and winery’s a few minutes away.Nice clean facilities and room for picnics.Turn up early in the day as it does get busy.

Loved this place right on the beach front.Highly recommend this place to stay for a couple of nights. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises over the water.

Plenty of parking spaces . In amongst the trees for shade .Ocean right there. Room for parking comfortably around 20 motorhomes . Very clean toilets and recycling bins . Solid surface for all year round parking . Max 2nights stay . DOG friendly.

GREAT freedom camping spot. Two nights maximum stay per visit. Right on the ocean edge with great views to the North and towards Cape Kidnappers. Toilets, drinking water and rubbish onsite. Right on the cycle trail and multiple wineries within walking distance. You'll love it!!

Great spot right on the beach for an overnighter in our bus. Plenty of room for everyone with little nooks or beachfront. Amazing sunrises.

Clifton Road Reserve
We are from Lower Hutt and come up to Havelock North several times a year as we love the whole area. We often spend a day or two sitting on our deck chairs at this lovely reserve, observing the birds, the waves, and chatting to the odd person fishing or walking along the beach. Lovely clean toilets. It's a great place to spend some chill out" time. Thank you to the Council who maintain it and the toilets really well."

A beach at your front door of camper. Beautiful spot to stay a night or 2. Toilets are wel maintained and free to use. The beach are pebbles. So Al night you can hear the ocean at you door.
