I needed new dining table plus chairs, and new sofa, for my recent move into an apartment in a retirement village. Tillmans showed me their several options, then once I had chosen the designs of the new items, helped me choose stains for the wood, alter the measurements slightly on chair and sofa legs, & choose colour and texture of sofa fabric, and coloured leather seats for the dining chairs. Tillmans could not have been more knowledgeable and helpful. I am very pleased with the result.

Have just had my first visit to Tillman Fine Furniture! A very friendly, & attentive experience. I would go there again in an instant. Beautiful furniture in the traditional style, & heaps of coverings.The staff take the time to show you coverings & furniture of your choice of which there is a lot! Also free delivery!Lynette Hale. From a genuine welcome as I walked in, to personal delivery way out of town - 5 stars to Tillmans.A beautiful piece of furniture, with every aspect measured to fit, for not much more than a mass produced big-box item.And crafted here in Christchurch.Someone is now offering ' free sits' to all visitors and giving youthful demonstrations of how quickly they can stand up.
