She is also an amazing person to work with she's kind and welcomes you like family and helps boost your confidence in the salon :)) would highly recommend getting your hair done at Hair by Day I've loved my time there sad to leave thank you Mel!!

Mel is always friendly and cheerful and a great hairdresser to boot.The new stations are great and the chairs are extremely comfortable. If you are in need of a new hair stylist then definitely give Mel and co a call. You won't be sorry.

Very unimpressed. Was reluctant to go back after the previous time but I couldn't get an appointment elsewhere in Paeroa for another month. Mel rushed my hair cut more so than usual and I left feeling like a mess. The next day while in Thames I walked into another salon to ask about getting my hair fixed and once the stylist straightened my hair it was apparent to both of us just how uneven and terrible my hair cut was. I would not have gone back to Mel as I had zero confidence in her ability to fix it especially as she had taken large uneven chunks of hair out. The seat in Mel's salon was also covered in hair as was the floor where I placed my belongings which wasn't nice.
