Kin Recruitment

I recently dealt with a recruiter at Kin recruitment. We set up a zoom meeting soon after initially speaking and she informed me I was the perfect candidate with the right experience for a position she was representing. My information was forwarded along to the company, and soon after I had an interview that seemed to go well. Several days after the interview, the recruiter called me asking how the interview went. Only then to inform me she had already spoken to management prior, who said they were looking for someone with more experience. It was quite upsetting to hear she had already spoken with management and a decision had been made, prior to asking me how the interview went. Likewise, it was very unsettling having to go through the entire two-week process, only to be informed that the position I was so ‘overwhelmingly qualified’ for, felt I lacked qualification. I do not mind the general recruitment process and am happy to do it. What I do not favor is feeling dragged along with a recruitment company that is clearly disconnected to their own client’s requirements and lacks empathy for the time of others.

I worked with an awesome recruiter (Theresa) at Kin. I went to a couple of interviews and received clear and reassuring feedback after each one. She was so supportive of me and really felt like my cheerleader throughout the process. I ended up landing a role that fit all my criteria and very happily recommend them to my friends.

Google maps shows the wrong building. My experience with Kin was nothing but pleasurable. It was wonderful meeting Erina. I felt at ease so I could be myself without feeling judged.

I have had several interactions with recruiters at Kin. Most recently I have worked with Nikkie. My initial conversations with Nikkie, were productive and helpful. The process for the application was clearly laid out for me. I ended up having a very long interview process and throughout, Nikkie was professional and supportive keeping me informed regularly. Even though I was not the successful candidate in the end, I was treated as a valued client. I would definitely recommend Kin to others.7 August 2021 - the first part of my review was about a month ago. I wanted to add to this as I stayed in contact with Kin, and when another role came up, Nikkie helped with with my application again. With her guidance I was connected with another opportunity. The interview process was very fast with this one, and in the end I was successful. I am extremely happy with the role I have gotten. Sticking with Kin really paid off, I highly recommend Kin.
