The best batter we have ever had for taste and texture . May have been a new recipe or oil on Friday 7th July at 4:30 pm but it was noticeably better than their admittably usual high standard that has made them our favourite so we are looking forward to our next visit when I have a Friday off

We normally get our takeaway here and it’s really good but our latest fish and chips were awful, fish was tiny and chips were not great either! Hopefully next time it will be back up to standard!

Not impressed at all. The fish was overcooked and 5mm thick and dry the meat patty was way over garlicky and the steak and onion roll just tasted off.Good amount of chips not greasy and the mini hotdog was well cooked.After reading other reviews I may give them another try

Order some chips with garlic butter. DISCUSTING!Way too much butter to the point the chips were soaked in soggy oil and herbs.TOTALLY INEDIBLE!

Went here late last year.I did a telephone order, poor service over the telephone and in store, not even a hello or thank you on leaving.Fish was OK but nothing special same with the hotdog and chips.The search for a good chippie continues...

We had separate orders. But we both got wedges. I ordered chips. Completely wrong order. Tried to ring and let them know. The girl that answered had no idea.

Dropped in driving home, all the way back down south. Busy wee shop, very very clean and hygienic. Food was good, not greasy, burger was delicious. Recommend to anybody looking for a safe option.
