The Fabric Warehouse

The staff here are awesome! They are creative and have fantastic personalities.I came because I was in the area and my friends have raved on for years about this place.Getting to the shop was a pain as there were roadworks right on the road & intersection outside of their shop. I cheekily snuck into the near empty parking lot outside Spotlight & JR Russell as there were no parks anywhere else.Turns out that Spotlight had closed due to the power having been cut. Fabric Warehouse was still open & they offered torches to look around. I had a quick look around their extensive fabric stock & accessories but I'll go back again when I have a project in mind.

Incredibly helpful staff! I couldn't find the material I was after anywhere and they got it ordered within ten minutes of me entering the store and got it to me within the week - over New Years as well! Wonderful!

I came here because I heard of their $5 box. What amazed me the most is their very friendly and helpful staff. I am relatively new to sewing but the amount of recommendations I got from them made me comfortable of my choice. Definitely a Sewist's happy place.

I went to 4 different fabric stores on Sunday and here was my last stop. I hadn't been able to find anything I liked all day. I found a small remnant of what I wanted and the assistant let me know they had a fresh roll. Not only that they gave it to me for $5 a metre, which was an absolute bargain. I couldn't be happier.

The wife pops in here whenever we are in the area. Some great deals to be had if you visit at the right times. She loves it.
