Muaūpoko Park (Lake Horowhenua) - Horowhenua District Council | Landscaped area of parkland and large grassed areas at the lake with a playground. A coastal dune lake with a large variety of bird life visits the lake - a great place for kids to to feed the ducks.

Ducks and geese everywhere to feed but not a great view of the lake as it is surrounded by tall weeds. Playground also in the area.

It's always do relaxing having lunch there either in the motor home or car,looking out onto the lake and watching the ducks geese chickens etc is just so nice.

Geese and ducks to feed, a small playground and a toilet. The lake looks beautiful, but there is no swimming as the water is toxic. Boating only.

Good play ground for the kids. Lots of ducks. Shame the edges of the lake were so over grown. We could not see the lake.

Good place to take the kids to feed the ducks and chickens and the play area is cool !the only downside is the lake itself you can't swim in it and it sometimes smells real bad if it was cleaned up more people would come.

Nice park with large open spaces. The view of lake Horowhenua is very obscured by vegetation so it's not terribly scenic. But nice place to take the dog.

Nice place..... could do with a bit of a tidy up. And some trimming of the bushes around the lake edge to show off the water more....
