Love the food from this restaurant & so happy to have them in Petone. Today after travelling 10hrs from up north, I picked something different which was Chicken Pad Thai. The portion size was generous & filled with chicken, veges including bean sprouts & fresh herbs etc however it was quite glutinous & everything kind of stuck together. It was tasty but I’ll stick to my favourites.And also the staff are lovely!

It's my fav go-to restaurant !! Kind staffs & large portion. You will see a sparkling clean cooking area when you pass thru the kitchen to go to the bathroom. Pad Thai tastes amazing with a lot of beef. Lardnar Crispy Noodle is also one of a kind. I can't find any other better Thai restaurant than here.

Best we have found in the Wellington region. Beautiful fresh dishes with plenty of flavour. Very friendly young lady front of house. We even travel down from Kapiti Coast to enjoy it. Wish they would relocate to Pram Beach, definitely be best on the coast.

Yummy! Having lived in Petone for 20 years this was our first visit to K Sing. Finding ourselves with a house suddenly full of young adults thanks to our son we decided to eat out. The restaurant was full but had a table for 2 near the register. As we were looking at the menu a friendly fellow told us that he had been coming here for 11 years and had tried everything on the menu. Taking his recommendations we ordered number 22 and number 28. One was a chicken dish with veges in a coconut cream sauce and the other a beef dish with veges. The waitress suggested we try mild as we could add chilli if we needed to. It was plenty spicy for me. Delicious and very filling we are glad we went and will be back.

Usually we have good experience when doing take aways. Today was extremely poor service. Wife ordered Gaeng Dang Gai (chicken curry with vegetable) which had a cream base. The cream had curdled and the water had separated in the curry. We took back the curry to show them and they say it was normal even though we have ordered numerous times previously.Poor service. We left the curry on the counter. The staff was cold about it.

I had the Banh Xeo - A savoury Vietnamese pancake filled with pork mince, spring onion & beansprouts, drizzled with sweet & sour sauce & roasted peanutsIt was delicious. The flavours were really good.The restaurant was really busy but they were surprisingly quick to serve considering everybody had turned up all at once..Highly recommended place to eat.

Had a lovely solo lunch meal here. Asked the waiter for Laos recommendations and she pointed out a selection of vegetarian Laos meals to pick from, including one she enjoyed lots as a child!She said Thai and Laos cuisine have many similarities. But, there are dishes on the menu specifically from Laos! Worth asking!I ordered the Tofu Khua Mee. As of April 2023 the meal was $23.50. The noodles where wide rice noodles in a thick, sticky, slightly sweet but deliciously savoury sauce. Tossed through the dish was fried firm tofu, bean sprouts, and zesty slices of spring onion. There were crushed peanuts, julienne carrot and cabbage on the side with a wedge of lemon I squeezed over everything! Excellent char flavour from being wok tossed.‘Hot’ was exceptionally hot. I do warn you! It was definitely at the top of my tolerance. But, luckily still fantastically tasty… I just had to eat slow and sip water. It was a lip and tongue burn — quite different to the chilli burn from North Indian cuisine and Chinese cuisines.I will 100% be returning soon!Vegan options on request!

Love the food at Ksign.I often get takeaways from Ksign, very delicious, consistent, and reasonable compared to other asian restaurants.
