Dante’s Pizzeria Takapuna
It was too runny. It felt like eating some nice, but a bit soggy towards the middle, bread with half baked tomato juice and chunks of mozzarella cheese. Not sure what happened but it seemed that there was an issue with the oven. The chef binned a pizza coming out of the oven before giving us ours. Not impressed at all.

Absolutely amazing pizza! Best in nz! The chef's are very friendly and the foh staff are super nice! A real family atmosphere with them all singing along to the classic Italian music. Service was super quick and always with a warm smile. So glad they are still here after the lock downs. Also don't forget their pasta menu! Hand made and delicious! 10/10

They served me with a cold pizza (it was not freshly cooked). Got the waitress to come and touch it to see how cold it was (she did, and then said she will cook another one for us - rudely in a way that she is giving us a free extra pizza and said enjoy this).We did not touch the cold pizza anymore until she changed it with a new one. I did not personally like the new pizza either.Would for sure go to the next door El Humero as usual (we made a mistake tried a new place).

We dined last Saturday and it took more than an hour for the food to arrive! We were informed that there has been a mishap with the printer with our order. They could have at least given us a discount or some sort of compensation for all the trouble. Poor customer service from the staff. The place is not even packed. The pizza was okay but it was definitely much better the first time we visit. We will not be going to this place again and will find other Italian pizza places instead.

Walked pass Dante’s on a Thursday night and was attracted by the menu and the friendly owner standing outside greeting.They have a proper highchair which is a bonus! The owner (assuming) suggested a creamy pasta and a plain simple pizza for us so we can share with my little one. Perfect choices!The pizza dough was so good and apparently fermented for 48 hours, so soft yet chewy with right amount of toppings. My little one enjoyed it so much.The house made pasta was also delicious but doesn’t feel too heavy.The meal was great and the services from all was very welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed it thank you ☺️

Low quality pizza bread and our garlic bread was burnt. Our friend's Pizza was cold and it looks like they changed someone else and brought it to them.I won't be back.

The truffle pizza is delicious af. I'm going to dream about it. And now I'm going to have to drive all the way from Greenlane to satisfy my cravings. Why have you done this to me?!Also service was super fast and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend and will be back

By far, the worst customer service EVER !Initially they joined two tables and put the wind block curtain down. As most of us were carrying hand bags, we asked if we can have a spare chair for the bags, the unfriendly suggestions from The most rude and off putting waitress EVER ! " were : 1. You can all put them down on the concrete floor under the tables (I refused)
