Kathleen is a very talented person with an incredible insight into how best to work with your dog. Our dog suffered from extreme anxiety escalated by pain and a multitude of other factors, along with this anxiety came distrust of people. Kathleen came into her world and with her patience, kindness and expert knowledge she made an enormous difference to Maddies well being both mentally and physically. Maddie fully trusted Kathleen and she looked forward to her visits as did I. We will be forever grateful.

I would highly recommend The Balanced Dog! Kathleen helped my Greyhound when she injured her knee and has given me very good advice when my Greyhound was not enjoying walks anymore. Kathleen is very knowledgeable and very easy to communicate with. As my dog Raven has gotten older (9 years old as of writing) she showed signs of slowing down and was not that keen to do too much. Since regular physical therapy sessions over the last couple years with The Balanced Dog and Kathleen's advice around supplements and stretching, Raven has a new lease on life. She moves more freely and is no longer stiff in the morning, even in winter!

Kathleen is wonderful with Marley and us humans. She is respectful, gentle and kind with her treatment and has made a huge difference in Marley's quality of life. Very fortunate to have found her to help us :)

Jess is my 10 year old Springer Spaniel. We started treatments with Kathleen earlier in the year as he was becoming quite sore and stiff in his back legs and generally wasn’t happy or engaged on his walks.Since starting the massage treatments and laser therapy Jess is a different dog, Kathleen’s advice on pain management and exercise has really improved his quality of life, he is more engaged, happy to go for walks, holds his head high and even wants to play, which he just wasn’t interested in before.One of the great things about this service is that it is mobile, which gives Jess security as he feels safe and comfortable in his own home. He gets very excited when he sees Kathleen pull up the drive and I have to hold him back to allow her to set up before he tries to jump on the bed and start his treatment.It is clear Kathleen only wants the very best for the dogs she treats and has gone above and beyond with all her advice and support for Jess. I can’t thank her enough and would highly recommend her services to anyone who wants the best for their dog.

I have been using Kathleen's services for my greyhound for the past 6 years and highly value and recommend her to all who wish the best for their dog's health and wellbeing. Ben currently gets a massage every 6 weeks which helps to keep him in great shape, he is 9 but still loves to run flat tack at any given opportunity. I have also attended Kathleen's massage and cooking for dogs classes which were fun and informative.

We are so lucky to have found Kathleen to help with Jake our 15 year old Staffy. Her expertise and advice about how to make our home easier for him to get around in as been superb. Having Kathleen come and give Jake a massage in his own home is just wonderful and his quality of life has improved because of her expertise and care. Kathleen has also been invaluable at giving us advice about his diet and suggested supplements. I have also done one of Kathleen’s doggy massage courses and a cooking for your dog - both were really enjoyable and informative.

Kathleen is amazing!! Our wee girl Lilly use to have regular massages with Kathleen. And I enjoyed our chats. Kathleen is very kind, caring and knowledgeable. She even gave advice while on holiday!! I would throughly recommend her. We will be using her services again in the future

Our pet Laddie had the most wonderful and relaxing experience with the special massage that Kathleen gave him.It was only his first and last time because we had to put him to sleep due to his failing health.We are so sad to let him go but there's no other choice.... Kathleen was very encouraging and had lots of tips for me to care for Laddie.
