Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre, Aotea Centre

Good venue to host events.Kept cool despite the mass of people inside so that's a big plus.

Went here last night to see Dorian Grey. Amazing experience. The theater was impressive and well spaced, the staff were friendly and helpful (I got shown to my seat as it was the first time I had ever been there) and the show was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Comfy seats with impressive legroom as well. Would definitely come back again

The seating wasn't tiered. That meant those in front blocked your view more than they used to in theaters such as His Majesty's and the Civic of old. A lot of the mechanics or lighting are visible to the audience . Once upon a time the audience didn't have to see this. The floors were scratched. Common, far too common for the name of Kiri Te Kanawa and Auckland. The show 'Enua was fantastic. Plastic cups for wine? My wife picked up the 'glass' and it folded in her hands. Whatever happened to the ratepayers money? It took half an hour to get from the car park to the exit and then the damned software could not read our number plate. Go back to the paper ticket please. Too many unnegotoable red cones around the streets and that blocked road up by the civic not allowing cars is preposterous. The show was excellent but Auckland CBD as a venue has much to be desired.

Big and spacious auditorium. Located nicely in Aotea square. The building looks new and well-maintained. The staircase like seating is really nice because you can easily see the stage and it is diagonally arranged. Toilets are available inside.

Seats are uncomfortable but otherwise beautiful acoustics. Delighted with chosen seats for the afforded view of the stage.

Fabulous acoustics, lovely staff, well kept amenities. One of those rare modern theatres that welcome the audience into the artist's presence to share an experience.

Been in Auckland for more than 15 year, first time come to Auckland Town Hall. Should come early.

Went for a Stand up comedy show. Place is neat and elegant.Not sure about the options for food and drinking inside, pretty normal, soft drinks, water, beer and wine. Food, some sweets, I guess it depends on the type of event.But the cool think it's the outside you've got a whole variety of options.
