Terrific kebab, second time we have visited and just as good as the first time! Love the food and the friendly service a bonus too! We will be back for sure !

Used to be good. Went many times always the same order. Today I had rotten garlic yogurt. I bought it up to the person working and was told its ok. It obviously wasn't because I couldn't finish the meal which I normally smash, as it tasted like nasty blue cheese and all afternoon I have had a disgusting taste in my mouth. Sadly I will never go back here again.

Went to Evan's Kebab for a quick lunch today. I ordered the mixed (chicken and lamb) on rice and my partner ordered the fried chicken and chips. The service was nice and they were friendly.However, the hygiene of the place doesn't seem great. There were a lot of flies in the shop and they were in the vegetable case. There was no door/lid to close where the prepped veges were sitting. Flies were flying around in it and sitting on it. The owner saw that I noticed and tried to wave them away and kept looking to see if I was still looking. When I got the food, the veggies were room temp/warm and looked like they were sitting out all day. I didn't eat the veggies at all.The floor was really dirty as well and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. I was really put off eating my food but I couldn't back out because we already ordered and paid for it.I ended up eating the meat and rice which was really average. The rice was fine, the meat was okay. The sauces were good but the Hummus didn't taste very nice. The chips were made fresh, so that was good. The chicken was average.I wouldn't recommend going there, and we definitely won't be going back.

This place gets more expensive every time I go there and somehow end up with less food. They offered my chips in my kebab for free! But I ended up with 90% chips and 10% chicken. Won’t be coming back.

Small family owned business that is run by a very friendly husband and wife who are always willing to go the extra mile for their customers.They always ask how you are and have good banter.The food is always great and the chips are really really good every time!I highly recommend Evans kebabs to anyone local wanting kebabs or chicken and chips .

My mum and I dined in one day and had chicken and chips for lunch, we absolutely loved the food, service and atmosphere of the place, 10 out of 10 in our personal opinion, plus I love how the couple were so friendly, we'd definitely dine in again sometime.

Horrible kebab, the vegetable were stale and horrible. Chicken serving were small and so dry. Seemed like it was left over chicken. The tomato sauce was definitely expired and had a horrible taste. The hummus was rotten bad( acidic meaning was few days old). My 3 children and I had to throw it in the bin and get subway.

Great place tucked away next to the dairy. A hidden gem up the hill. Good food and as a driver of trucks and lorrys this is a go to spot for many of the boys on the road. Great service from the couple behind the counter welcoming and friendly. Willing to add abit extra on top of what you have ordered. The kebabs on chips is a heart attack waiting to happen but worth risk. Add a bit of hot sauce on top done!

Once upon a time this place was amazing, I'm talking 5+ years ago. Now, the food quality has gone downhill. The chicken was disgusting it had a taste of old cooking oil, it was foul. I requested fresh chips and the lady happily did it for me. But you can defs taste old oil.The owners should look at cleaning the place up it's so dirty in there. And make some changes to the quality of their food.Haven't tried thier kebabs so this review is purely chicken and chips.I will give credit to the service though the lady was polite.
