I had a session for Helen's 40 over 40 project and loved the whole experience. I will admit I was a bit nervous but soon that was overcome as Helen put me at ease and I now have some wonderful images.Picking the images and then collecting the images when they were ready was also a really fun part of the process.Thanks Helen!

I had a great morning in Cambridge with Helenjoy. I was a tad nervy about it all. I'm not comfortable in front of a camera and had no idea about posing. I don't generally wear make up although I'm fussy about my hair. Both were fantastic. Helenjoy was patient and very helpful with what she wanted and was generous enough to let me try something I wanted too. The proofs were fabulous ... the final prints were stunning. All in all, I can highly recommend a session with Helenjoy Photography - just do it!

After my initial conversation with Helen it made me realise that I have never done anything like this for myself and if I didn't do it now, I probably never would. From start to finish the whole experience was lovely and fun and completely out of my comfort zone. I would 100% recommend any woman out there to just do it.

Loved the whole experience. It was special to have hair and makeup done and then to have the opportunity to ‘play’ in front of the camera under Helenjoy’s expert guidance. So happy with the pics - she really had a gift for making you comfortable and bringing out the best in you. Would recommend this to anyone who needs to be reminded that they matter!

The Doll cake photography session with Helen was the most amazing experience for my 11 year old daughter. Helen made her feel extra special with the beautiful dresses, hair and make up. The photos taken were amazing and I'm so glad we have these beautiful photos that capture her personality and beauty at this age. If you want beautiful keepsakes of your daughters, Helen does an amazing job!!

Wow! What an amazing experience I had with Helenjoy Photography. Helen made me feel so welcomed and relaxed.I enjoyed my session with different poses and plenty of laughs, real confidence booster!.Professionalism is what you get with Helen and the expertise on makeup and hair as well. Highly recommend Helen to do all your portrait photography. I absolutely loved all my photos she produced of me. A legacy I can now pass down to future generations.

I went into this really nervous after years of doing things for others and never doing anything for myself. Kids had left home and life took a turn for the better so when I saw the opportunity on Facebook I took it. So rapt with my album and how it has turned out. Helen made the whole experience from initial contact right through to collecting album a very relaxed pleasant experience. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the quietest nervous person to jump at this opportunity. Very rewarding.

Helen is a lovely down to earth, approachable photographer who made my photo shoot experience fun and memorable.The whole experience was totally new for me from makeup to hair and finally the different poses and outfits Helen did it all, her expertise and guidance was incredible.
