Lovely service.. The Blue Cod and chips were beautifully cooked.. the batter on the fish lovely and light .. Chips really yummy.. didn’t taste like they had been cooked in fat.. would definitely recommend and go back next time we are in Hanmer..

Honestly the worst fish n chips ive ever had! Everything way over cooked, fish didnt taste fresh. They need to change the cooking oil more often, tasted of old stale oil, avoid at all costs.

Honestly all the fries, crab stick qnd onion rings were all burnt. The salt isnt evenly spread so some bits were too salty or too bland. One of my crab sticks had a parasite in it so I threw all of food in the trash. One of the worst fish and chips store in my life. It makes sense why they are selling the business.

I checked out the local fish&v hoops and found a Egg burger ($14) with all the trimmings apart from no bacon as requested. It was very well crafted however some reviewers have had their own slightly different opinions about the food. A good range of extras but yeah the price does not reflect some of those items. Still give it ago.

Fast food... Ish. It's frozen food cooked quickly and doesn't taste half bad. Had the Hawaiian burger, dumplings and chocolate shake. The shake is a bit runny. I'm used to the super thick shake in the States.

Food was overcooked. Everything is pre made and frozen prior to hitting the deep fry. Chips were really dry.

Tasty and fresh cooking fish & chips. Good value for the day for two people. Also you can have ice cream as well and cold drinks. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The shop is located close to the the Hanmer hot pools. I recommend this shop and I will mention the wheelchair people are welcome.

Quite expensive for fish n chips, $44 for 1 adult 3 kids. We did get 2 spicy chicken burgers and they were really good. Good size portion and nice chips.

Standard feed of fish n chips. Pleasant food. Busy noisy shop, but to be expected. Distribution of completed orders needs someone with a loud voice to broadcast the number.
