Pie wasn’t bad but nothing special. The milkshake was like flavoured milk, extremely runny. Overall the place was pretty dirty and no one had cleared any tables in a while

Awesome bakery - with great country hospitality that Canterbury is famous for. Hearty, generous food made with great skill. I ordered a blueberry and custard pastry with a hot chocolate.The pastry was excellent, the hot chocolate served quickly with a smile. Thank you Pete & Cherie. I shall return.

Had a bacon and salmon pie from Fairlie a few days ago so I thought I would grab one from here for comparison. There was no comparison. This was a bit disappointing. No chunks of salmon and the sauce was gelatinous rather than creamy.

Pretty disappointing. I don't think what I had was very fresh. Very dry sausage roll and blueberry muffin disintegrated when I cut into it.The flat white was ok. Tourists need to expect much better than this.

Honestly team.... very slow service under no pressure whatsoever. Bacon and egg slice very ordinary sorry guys. Bacon poor quality bacon and eggs a bit tasteless so a 4/10 there. Date scone again ok at best. Mince pie gravy average. Sausage roll good. Coffee good.

This is a bakery that makes my mouth water, lots of yummy things. We brought a coffee, two vegetarian pies and a couple of sweet treats, all were fresh and delicious. I would recommend going here if you like good bakery food.

It’s a good bakery for your typical bakery goods and coffee. The drinks were good, and the food was okay too, but nothing special. I had the large chocolate éclair tasted good although it was on the stale side. The bakery is in a modern complex and is kept clean. Space is a little tight inside so if the weather is nice I would suggest seating outside. Overall it good, nothing outstanding.

savoury food is very average and overpriced but I do like the slices which I think are priced well. Biggest downfall is the service, sometimes its ok but the other day lady didn't seem like she wanted to be there which made me feel uncomfortable giving my order.

Good selection of food with great service. Prices as per any other in the area which was were as you would find in any main centre. Out door area available with good access in and out of the cafe.
