If I could give no Stars, I would!!Worst pie ever! The “meat” was just gel/fat in fact I have no idea what it was, but so disgusting. I feel sick just thinking about it. These should not be allowed on the market.Saw some old reviews obviously before I’m guessing a change of ownership? Don’t buy a Pie from here, you will be highly disappointed and may even chuck up!!!

We were too hungry to take a photo but my son and I both rated our pies very highly. Good crispy pastry (the baker wasn't afraid to go for a dark golden colour) and a good meaty filling with a flavorful creamy sauce. I had the steak, bacon and cheese while my son had the mince and cheese. I think I'm a little bit biased against oval pies (as opposed to round) but these little beauties have changed my mind. My top pie bakeries for NZ are Wellington's Patricia's Pies and Kihikihi's Viend's Bakery but this is now my favourite oval pie bakery. That it's only 100m from my house is almost too good to be true!

I'm not sure if the shop has changed ownership, but the pies I've had from there the last three times were terrible. After eating the pie I purchased today, I started feeling queasy and was promptly sick. Quality of the pies has really dropped . Wouldn't recommend them, very disappointed :(

Worst pie I have ever had in my entire life. Its flavor was noticeably lacking, as the filling had an excessive amount of fat and gristle, rendering it an unpalatable, soupy mess. I found it to be unseasoned and undersalted, devoid of any complexity or nuance in its taste. Though the pastry was satisfactory, the filling was the pie's weakest link, exhibiting a consistently unappetizing texture and flavor. All in all, I would not recommend it, and I doubt I will revisit the establishment in the future.

Great halal sausage rolls, pies and coffee that hits the spot.Owner confirmed verbally and had clear signage stating halal status of the products and different cooking process etc. Big thanks to owner for clearly stating information and providing halal delicious produce.

I would strongly recommend not getting a pie from here. It was cold when I bit into it. They heated it up for me but it was still cold in parts, and the filling seemed a bit congealed, like fat that has been sitting in a fridge. I had to throw it away and get something somewhere else.

We chose these pies due to past reviews and were not disappointed!!Pastry is light and flaky, beautiful tasty pies. Note self: Get there early before they sell out !! A must do when in hamilton.
