Kebab on fries with salad. We got a large with a falafel which was enough food for 2 people. Very good portion sizes.The chips were a bit bland, they would be better with some sort of seasoning, or putting one lot of sauce on before putting the meat on top, then doing a second layer of sauce.

Called in to this nice clean Turkish restaurant/ takeaway for a late lunch this afternoon.Upon enquiring of the owner which items were Gluten Free, we were told that all items on their menu were GF, except the kebarb wraps. He had an intimate knowledge of all ingredients used and celiac food safe protocol. I was highly impressed, the food was delicious and extremely good value for money.We'll definately be back again when next traveling through Taupo.

We recently had the pleasure of visiting Kebab Turka in Taupo, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome and friendly smile from the staff. The store was immaculate, with a clean and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home.And the food, oh my goodness! It was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered a chicken kebab and I ordered the chicken salad, we both were suprised that it was bursting with flavor. The meat was tender and juicy, and the veggies were fresh and crisp. We also appreciated that the store is halal and made it clear with signage upon entry.Overall, we highly recommend Kebab Turka to anyone looking for a quick and tasty meal. The staff is fantastic, the food is top-notch, and the atmosphere is just right. Whether you're on a road trip or just in the mood for some good kebab, this is the place to go. Thank you, Kebab Turka, for a truly wonderful experience!

We are so impressed with Kebab Turka! The manager last night was so friendly. We arrived at the cusp of closing, but he was so gracious. He made fresh rice and opened a new salad bag for us to make our lamb iskender. We took it to go, and ate it in our hotel room. It was fantastic! Very filling! Had leftovers. It was delicious. Everyone should eat here! Thank you for feeding my family from the US!

Lovely place to have a delicious dinner. I got a medium lamb kebab with chips and salad and it was very tasty. Super big portions for only $22 and lamb was very tender.The server was very nice and food came out quick and hot. They gave us free baklava dessert as we were leaving which was a lovely surprise.Overall amazing place. Definitely underrated. Highly recommend .
