Recently I attended the Reset and Reconnect retreat on Waiheke, and it exceeded my expectations!! Bridget ensures every detail is perfectly executed. I didn't know any one else going, however I felt so welcome and supported. Each activity (and delish meal) was nourishing for the mind, body and soul. I'm usually someone who does a little bit of yoga to stretch out and slow down, but this retreat showed me the value of yoga movement and philosophies everyday. I came away with lovely new friends, wonderful memories and an open heart. Thank you! x

Planning my 200-hour teacher training in India was an exciting and easy experience with Bridget’s help! It can be overwhelming to choose a course that will suit your needs simply by looking online at websites and reviews. Bridget helped me to narrow down a few yoga schools that suited my budget and what I wanted to get out of a teacher training course. After choosing Mahi Yoga Centre in Goa, I was confident that I would be receiving a high level of teaching and I had an incredible time learning about yoga in a truly authentic way.Bridget’s support along the way was so helpful. She was able to respond to my questions about preparing to go to India and she made sure everything was organised at the other end - although India can be unpredictable! I attended my first yoga retreat in October in Glenorchy, through the Yoga Travel Co. From my first dealing with Bridget Schaeffers I was super impressed. Bridget kept me up to date on everything regarding this retreat, when I finally met Bridget on the first day of the retreat she welcomed me with a massive hug and smile, like I had known her forever, made me feel super special. Throughout the 5 day yoga retreat this feeling lasted the entire time.Maria Gorham and Angela Baker from Hot Yoga Wellington were our teachers on this retreat and they know their stuff and they live their passion. The practice twice a day was held in a room looking at the wonderful mountains in our beautiful South Island. Maria and Angela's passion for yoga shone through and we all learnt from them in our workshops. Maria's high energy had us all dancing, and this was enjoyed by all, with a wonderful feeling afterwards and much laughter. Angela sang a beautiful mantra at the retreat - Amisha Ghadiali - Mantra - Anandoham - Angela has such a wonderful voice and this was totally mesmerising.I cannot recommend Bridget Schaeffers, Maria Gorham and Angela Baker more to lead us all in our yoga practice, fun, laughter, mindfulness, journal writing and workshops. I met so many wonderful like-minded people from all walks of life, and the food, boy the food was amazing. The whole experience was 10/10.
