It's not summer for us if we haven't visited Baylys. Magnificent views and perfect for that 4WD beach trip you've dreamed of. Start at the Poutu Lighthouse and drive up: you won't regret it! Just be watchful of tides, be ultra careful when swimming as it is the wild west, the rip is crazy strong, and we have had encounters with sharks.
