Would definitely look at other surgeons. I went here for double mastectomy gender affirming top surgery here in 2020. Paid almost $17,000 for results that were unsatisfactory. Dog earring occurred which we had discussed in the consult (was told this was a very very unlikely thing to happen.) Mr Porter blamed this on my weight, although a friend of mine who is very slim had similarly unsatisfactory results from him. Overall surgery was fine other than this.Went back for a revision, was going to cost upwards of $5,000 for a full fix, on top of the original cost, so we settled for a smaller operation because I could not afford the alternative. Was not informed, during MULTIPLE consultations that this would have any cost. After the revision, (for the unsatisfactory results that I received in my first operation from Mr Porter), I was sent a bill for this surgery. Very misleading as I was informed of no cost. Tried to contact the practice through email to express this and the staff were no help, then stopped replying to my emails. Was then sent another invoice with threat of debt collectors. Would go somewhere else if I were to go back in time.

Really disappointed with the surgery which was terrible which has led to extreme self confidence issues. Very unprofessional and charged fee for corrective surgery to fix her own mess. Know of 2 others who had to return for corrections. Do not recommend at all.

I drove over from Greymouth to have a Basal Cell Carcinoma removed from my ear. Christopher Porter was so good. I hardly felt a thing and my ear is recovering fast. Kate was a great help too. Thanks guys!
