I WOULD NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!Installation of 3 sliding mirror doors for my one wardrobe.After paying my 50% deposit and confirming the install day for Friday 17th November at 10.00am, I received a call just after 10.00am to advise the installer was running late and will be there at 10.30am. 10.30am came and went with no communication from the installer. 11.00am I phoned the office and they said he will be there at 12.00pm, then 1.30pm still no sign of the installer.I then got the installers number who apologised and said that his boss had advised him not to go to my job at 10.00am but to go to another site that was 'more urgent'.The installer then agreed to come over on the Saturday 18th November at 1.00pm, after numerous calls to the installer that went unanswered he turned up at 3.30pm. Only to find out that one of the wardrobe doors glass was broken. He installed 2 of the 3 doors however during the install of these doors he damaged my new wallpaper. Within minutes of leaving my home, I phoned the installer advising him of the damage and sent him photos showing the freshly damaged wallpaper.I contacted the manager Neville on the Monday, who visited my home a few days later and said that I should use shoe polish to fix it or contact my insurance company and sort it out myself as the installer didn’t cause the damage (even though you could clearly see the damage was fresh).The following week the installer returned to install the 3rd wardrobe door however when he left I noticed that the bottom track was not fixed to the floor properly (very loose) and 1 of doors wouldn't slide open or close so I couldn't use this wardrobe at all.I sent Neville an email advising that the door and track was not installed correctly. Neville replied that he wouldn't fix the door unless I paid the balance of the money. I advised him that the balance would be paid once the job and the defects had been completed/fixed.I sent him 3 emails before the 18th December requesting they fix the problem, they all went unanswered.Then in March I received a letter from Baycorp for non-payment of the balance and close to a $300 penalty fee.I advised Baycorp and Doorways 2009 Ltd via email that the job had not been completed/fixed and that under the Consumer Guarantees Act I didn't have to pay until the work had been completed and was fit for its intended purpose.Neville replied that I had to pay the balance before he would fix the work.It was only when I advised Neville I would go to small claims that he sent an installer to complete the job.I then paid the balance owing however I never received any compensation for the damage they caused to my wallpaper, so I am out $150.

Took 3 weeks to get a quote after site measure. Then there were loads of mistakes. Corrected them. New mistakes. Corrected them. Even more other new mistakes somehow. Corrected them. Ordered/invoiced. Some doors delivered with wrong jams. Redone. Then they ran 3-4 weeks over the lead time quoted on other doors. More mistakes vs the order. Wrong glazing. Drilled at wrong height. Rebates done the wrong way. In sum: Doorways has been the single largest source of frustration and rework on our extensive renovation protect.

Fantastic service from Doorways from the minute we walked into their showroom. Clem is knowledgeable and helpful. Quotes were provided promptly and the doors were delivered on time. Highly recommend Doorways.

delayed my order for about a week, then finally got the doors and it was made slightly bigger than what I ordered so it wouldn’t fit. got told on the phone that”you should just sand it down abit” had to bring it back again to get it fixed......... not a good experience.

Hope in reception was terrible. I was told the door was in Tauranga with Mainfreight it wasn't! Hope gave me the wrong consignment number so the handyman turned up in the wrong place with the wrong number costing valuable time and money. Very disappointed.

Horrible experience, continually got my order wrong & were complacent & unapologetic when it came to rectifying the issues. I did get everything sorted eventually but I spent hours & hours of my time achieving this. Stay away
