We stopped in today just to browse. We've been looking for a particular look of lighting for a self contained dwelling and the skullery in our home. We immediately found everything we needed thanks to the knowledge and guidance from Tasha. Her welcoming and friendly customer service skills really stood out for us and it was so refreshing! Thanks for making our visit stress free. Just so happened they were having a massive sale so it was well worth our visit. Would highly recommend this Hornby store for great advice, unbeatable prices and exceptional service.

Have experienced very poor customer service from this store in the past, similar to other reviews mentioning they were completely ignored. HOWEVER today we went in to the store and were served by the branch manager Mike, who was fantastic in helping us with our queries and took the time to explain some awesome bulb technology. 10/10 on customer service. Seek him out if you need advice, we were really impressed!

We popped into the Hornby store this morning to purchase a pendant light we saw online. We were the only customers in the store. Two salesmen were on. One was ripping up paper at a desk, the other walked right past us out the door. Neither acknowledged us or even said hello to us. We therefore have gone elsewhere to purchase the light. Extremely poor customer service.

We were looking for downlights for our renovated kitchen, we were served by the manager Mike, he was extremely helpful and explained everything clearly and made our decision very easy. We will definitely shop here again.

Called in for a replacement bulb today for a Philips pendant light for a children's bedroom. Amy was super helpful. Amy advised all the options, and sold us a super bright 1520 Lumens Bulb. Very prompt, professional and courteous.

Not recommended at all. Manager was so rude. When she was serving us first time selling $900 worth products, she was super nice. When we came back to return some unused products to get refund, she was totally a different personality. Misleading information was provided about their refund policy. We were told that any products can be returned within a month or so as long as theses haven’t been used but when we came back to return them they told us that all products should be returned within 7 days (completely different statement than what they told initially when they sold). Not helpful and friendly service.
