I began working with Alpha 1 Builders in late 2014 as a student intern, before progressing into a permanent position on the team.Paul and his team are indeed very professional the company is amazingly transparent and honest. From working with Alpha 1 Builders I have learnt that the only way to do business is to offer quality with integrity.I've never connected with work like I have in my time here, Alpha 1 Builders is very much a close nit happy family.Cheers guys look forward to our next project,Blake.

Alpha1 have completed a number of renovation projects on our home including bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, kitchen, dining and a pergola. We have been consistently impressed with their professionalism, quality of work and attention to detail. Communication is superb, they are always efficient and well organised, and work in well with other tradies on site. With the wealth of experience in the team they've been able to come up with great ideas that we hadn't thought of, and work around some of the issues that inevitably arise when renovating an old house. We contracted Alpha 1 Builders to build a 2 bedroom cottage in West AKL. After meeting with 2 other builders and then Paul, we knew we had made the right choice in choosing Alpha 1. From the very start, Paul walked us thru the whole process - from design to completion, he made us feel at ease the whole way with no stone left unturned. The communication, attention to detail, transparency, quality and workmanship was superb in all respects. Pauls team were always punctual, polite and extremely skilled at what they do. In this day and age, with all the red tape from council and consents, you often hear of horror stories in the building trade. We didn’t have any of that, the Alpha 1 team always put us first and made the entire project very, very easy for us. All in all, we love our new cottage and know the result would not be what it is had it not been for the superior workmanship and project management from Alpha 1 Builders. Thank you Alpha 1, we are sincerely stoked and couldn’t be happier with what you have done for us!

Thank you to the team at Alpha 1, especially Devon and Paul for the outstanding job they did at our character bungalow. Small project but huge difference to create a new, larger lounge and master bedroom. The guys were easy to deal with, always responsive and well organised to meet our deadlines. They are a solution focussed team who deliver a high quality finish. Would recommend them to anyone!

Paul started helping us ahead of purchasing our house giving advice on potential renovation ideas and price guides. He gave us a very clear quote and was happy for us to do some of the work not needing to be done by a licensed builder so that we could keep within a set budget. His team was very professional and accommodating. The workmanship was great and he highlighted areas that needing upgrading as we went along. He worked to a clear timeline that was onsite so that everyone knew what was coming up. His sub-trades did a good job also and stuck to the timelines. He was great at keeping in touch and was fairly easy to get hold of if we needed his advice. We have since recommended him to others looking for a builder. The job came in just over budget but that was mainly due to extras we decided to do along the way while walls and ceilings were open.

Just had an amazing experience dealing with this company our close family friends had a beautiful cottage built by Paul and his team and we are the lucky ones to live in it.I have watched and been involved in seeing this small home come together from an idea for a home and income to completion.Over the years I have been involved in building renovations both in NZ and the Gold Coast and this is the best so far. Paul is so professional all the way through this exercise costs and updates were precise and submitted on a regular basis.The quality is excellent and the cottage is finished to a very high standard, big or small you could rely on these builders, honest and hardworking, without hesitation we would recommend them to our family and friends for future work.Thanks for making the cottage a really lovely place to live.

Paul and the Alpha 1 team helped us to fully renovate and extend our 1900s villa into a beautiful home for our family in 2018/2019.They were a fantastic team to work with throughout all stages of our renovation, from the early planning and budgeting phase where Paul gave us great advice and insight into what to expect, to the guys on site who always had time to explain things and show us how progress was going.The end result is fantastic, finishing to a high level that showed us that Alpha 1 doesn't just have a highly skilled team, but a team that cares about the end product they produce.It was a pleasure working with Paul, Kate and their team at Alpha 1, we wouldn't hesitate to have them back for future work we need or to recommend them to friends, family and anyone who wants a team that will work with you to create your dream home.

Alpha 1 was recommended by our architect for our bungalow renovation. Paul and his team were great to work with from beginning to end of the project, with clear communication and attention to detail throughout. Their practical problem-solving meant we kept things moving on-site, even when faced with the inevitable curve balls a renovation project (and covid) throws. We've already recommended Alpha 1 to friends, and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

We wouldn’t hesitate to use Alpha 1 again. Our experience, with having them renovate our house, was probably about as good as we could’ve hoped. Paul communicated well; was transparent with bills; and coordinated all the trades well, keeping pretty tight timelines, despite the challenges of COVID. All Paul’s team, and the subtrades he works with, were experienced, knowledgeable, and easy to get on with. The building site was kept clean and professional. Overall, the quality of the workmanship is spot-on, and the finished house is every bit as wonderful as what we’d initially envisaged from the architect’s plans.
