What a wonderful interiors store. It was a delight to come across Tomfoolery. A great gem to discover in Masterton. A must visit if you are in the Wairapa. I fell in love with their selection of cushions and vases. And when I’m on the look out for a new couch I’ll be going straight there. I’ll be going back!

Amazing homeware store with great stock and friendly staff!

Big mistake to go there for decent upholstery service.After 17 years we decided to change the upholstery on our favorite sofa and armchairs, we contacted the country life interia and after a few months our sofa and armchairs were to be renewed with a new fabric. Surprisingly, to our surprise, the job was done very quickly. Cause for satisfaction? I don't think so. Our couch and armchairs are not professionally made, too little fabric was used (5.5 meters left) and our couch and armchairs look terrible, not symmetrical and simply cheap. The upholsterer who came to see how he made our furniture was very aggressive and not pleasant, he explained that it was a throw fault related to the sugging on one side sofa. Besides, he did not replace the old sponge, as we asked, but left the old one, which additionally disgusted the appearance of the couch and armchairs, he suggested a new sponge for about $ 400 as an additional fee. we bought a new one for $ 140. We sorry we trust Country life to do our beloved furniture.
