Anytime Fitness Papanui

After recently receiving a promo email for a membership of $17 per week, which I think is a rip off I have gone from 5 to 4 stars for Anytime Fitness - $78 a month???? Yeah NAH Total rip off if you’re only going 3-4 times a week

Very clean gym and new equipment, as soon as you walk in you feel welcomed by all the staff, manager and trainers extremely helpful and friendly, always keen on helping out when needed! I love this place, I've been training here for nearly 2 years now and Im happy to say its become my second home :)

Friendliest staff in town, good location and quality equipment. Can get busy at peak hours but nowhere near as congested as the larger gyms. Excellent changing and showering facilities with a great hygiene culture among members, you hardly ever have to wipe down someone else’s sweat. Highly recommend this gym

Friendly staff, clean and tidy gym. Good range of equipment. Staff welcome you when you come in and are always available and happy to help if required. Location is great, and the gym is well laid out so never feels too busy.

The gym was spacious with new, well maintained, equipment. Staff were friendly and quick to say hello. The bathrooms were clean and hot water for the shower abounded.EDIT: In my initial review, I commented that free parking was scarce. I've since been informed that I was only looking in the wrong area. Thanks for the polite correction.

Came by on a Sunday afternoon to take a brief look around the gym before deciding whether or not to join. When I got there the door was locked though people were inside. Eventually a little boy opened the door and asked me what I wanted. I said I wanted to have a look inside the gym as I was considering whether to join or not. He told me to wait outside. A few minutes later he brought his dad with him who asked me why I was there. Again I said I wanted to have a look inside the gym to help me decide whether to join the gym or not. He pointed to the hours outside the door and said I’d have to return back on a day when they were staffed. Wasn’t even given a chance to go inside. A very bizarre and unwelcoming encounter but I’ll certainly not be coming back to this gym.
