An excellent comfortable motel with all the essentials, thoughtful touches, and good beds. The WiFi is simple, unlimited and fast, and the rooms have a good selection of TV channels. The rooms are quiet and face some grassy paddocks and mountain views. The management is caring and responds quickly to any requests. Highly recommended!

Honest and friendly owners, they lent us cloths and the hose to wash our bikes after we'd got them dusted up from unsealed roads.Super comfortable rooms, the towels were luxurious and so was the bathroom, the shower was really nice I didn't want to leave.Also there was a really entertaining cat around as well as some friendly cows over the fence, our favorite stay in our upper North island tour!

Wonderful Motel and perfect basecamp in the Golden Bay. Lovely host, clean and nicely equipped rooms with all you need. Ability to wash clothes (two washers, one dryer) is really nice. Best stay on my NZ trip so far.

Great motel, modern fitout, every amenity. Thoughtfully equipped. Thick towels, pump soap by basin, air freshener can too! Large spacious room with lots of good furniture and crockery. Also has a guest laundry!As a large group checking in, the owner had all keys in our rooms and all we had to was get our room number and pay. Thanks for making it do easy. Would definitely recommend staying here.

This was a great location, just on the fringe of everything Takaka has to offer. We got some great recommendations when we checked in for things to do in the area . The room itself was spacious and clean, with a nice balcony. Be sure to look out for the resident cat roaming the grounds. The laundry was very convenient and the location is within 20 minutes of a number of spectacular places. You can easily walk to a number of restaurants and a grocery store. One of the best lodging values we encountered in NZ.
