Feel for the price ,and taking into consideration the restaurant was very busy,the wait for a main was especially long with a young child in the party who was diabetic . Huge servings, a lot was wasted so perhaps up to diners to ask for half a portion. Waitresses were very busy but very helpful and attentive. Hopefully this can be taken on board as a constructive critique

Lone Star Cafe & Bar
We were visiting New Zealand from the United States and this restaurant really blew us away. We truly felt like we were in an American restaurant. The music and the vibe was all perfect! The food was also excellent! The garlic bread loaf appetizer made us feel like home! Better than any bread appetizer at home. This is a definite gem!

Had a great night out at Lone Star Masterton celebrating granddaughters birthday. Food was excellent, haven't had a bad experience there to date. Our waiter, Austin, was very attentive and looked after us very well. A big thanks to the rest of the team behind the scenes who provided an overall great experience on the night.

The food was very delicious! You have to try the cheese cake it was top tier! The staff were very kind, and they checked on our food once each meal. I had entree main and desert, I had garlic bread (amazing garlic bread) a burrito which fell apart halfway through but so good, and cheese cake for desert.

Lovely meal with my family at Lone Star. Service from Austin was top notch. Food was fantastic. It was my birthday, the free dessert and hand written birthday message from Austin was a pleasant and heartwarming surprise. Thank you.

Great place to dine, one of the best Lone Stars i have been to. Probably the best part of the evening g was the super friendly and helpful waitress Dani, she was amazing!! Probably the best service I have ever had. If you are visiting, ask for her!Meals were amazing, awesome flavor and size was perfect.Masterton's premium restaurant.

Warm and cosy atmosphere at the bar. Food and cocktails were great. The ribs and Dixie chicken was superb. We will be back for another dinner here!
