As a former tenant of Loafers Lodge, these people have been an excellent support.

Serving humbly and respectfully in a community with many needs. There is great need for volunteers to add their value. Nga mihi

I tend to disagree with all the comments. When needing help they (like other charities) run you through the oops... on bureaucratic paperwork... this is unacceptable. Are they a charity or a business... Looks more like a business as they are not even open on weekends for those in need. When former chief Des Britten ran the place, it was truly a charity. Don´t know about their food, at lunch time... I´ve never been there.Just inquired for a food parcel for a disabled person and got run through the oops... Salvation Army was even worse... very elitist and wouldn´t provide a bed to someone I tried to help who was in real need... same with other charities... Are they charities or just businesses out for PROFIT...Please think humanity and community...thanks.

90 % is very good vibe. Team works together. So leadership probably good. Noisy often problem. Piano is being used by guests for 5-10 mins. Ghetto blaster is Satan level. Very loud and bad songs. Social probs smoking alcoh begging. Communication announce lacking. Evbdy has a name story. Cannot call them. Staff and volunteers tops. Reception seem overloaded. They couldn't give skinny jump x fair communication govt news record. Wat was that. Can I crit examine wat news said. Record and FIRSTLIGHT. My TV. Investigate trees block house reception. It's always good when I can spere time to go there

Simply put, we need more if the kindhearted souls and volunteers running this place. The people they help vary from those who need it on a regular basis (many different reasons for this), and those who just need a hand to pull them out of a tough situation.

The good work of the Misson is throughout Wellington. Please remember them when donating.

The Street people are wonderful, the Volunteers priceless, however some of the staff (Managers) are disrespectful and horrible.
