Concussion Care

After 4.5 years of suffering post concussion syndrome (and not really knowing that was what i had) i honestly thought i was a hopeless case ie would suffer headaches for the rest of my life. The guys at concussion care assured me there was recovery and thru their guideance i am vastly improved. Anyone who has suffered ongoing concussion will know how devastating this condition is so i am eternally grateful to the team at concussion care.

I feel very fortunate to have found such a thorough, friendly practitioner as Dr Gary Dennis. He assessed then explained my brain condition clearly then gave me a comprehensive programme to work at to help my brain recover. Regular checks with tweaks to the programme were very motivating. It also helped that Gary had recovered from a major brain injury himself.I also appreciated the friendliness and patience of Treena on reception. I definitely recommend and highly rate this Concussion Care practice.

After watching my wife struggle for months and go from one practitioner to another, I can very confidently say, that at a time when we both thought the concussion was a forever thing and ultimately deteriorating Gary and his practice at Concussion Care made the difference. However, Gary always guides in the right direction.Before I started Concussion Care I was a vegetable. I could barely stand for a couple of minutes. I had no independence and I struggled to care for myself let alone be solo mum to my young daughter. I waited roughly two years for the public system to help but I was at my whits end and I needed treatment. In a desperate google search I came across the Concussion Care website. I watched the small video with Gary explaining what it was. I had a gut feeling that this was the answer.Every step of the way my life improved. It felt magical how much of a difference the Concussion Care treatment made. Now I have completed the rehabilitation process. I am not just back to my normal self, I am better than I have ever been. To have my independence back too was everything. Saying that Gary from Concussion Care saved my life is an understatement. We had some very long-term health issues that we had limited success in treating with other practitioners.The information we got here made it clear to us what the real cause of the issue was, which we had never suspected. I can not say enough about the quality of care, professionalism and knowledge that the team at Concussion Care provide. I came to them in an extremely distraught state, unable to function at all after a concussion that was left untreated for 6 months prior. This is the most comprehensive, ongoing treatment plan I have experienced in New Zealand and highly recommend Concussion Care and Dr Denis.
