Passing through Whanganui with my Mum, struggled a bit to find lunch until we were directed here by the staff at the jewelers. Glad we found it, good selection, nice food, and really great service. Will return if I ever find myself up that way again!

Overall I like mint for their service, atmosphere and food. They do really good cabinet food, cakes, pizzas and burgers. I would not recommend spending $39.50 on the lamb rack meal. The amount of lamb on the plate was expected but they could have done with bulking it up with more veges. It could of had a nice jus or sauce to go with it. The meal lacked flavour and was bland. Potato gratin was quite bland. The lamb was cooked nicely, quite pink, personally would prefer it cooked a bit longer. My advice don't waste your money on this meal, fine dining price to be left unsatisfied.

The young Maori lady was an exceptional waitress. Very happy with her service. Food was great atmosphere was fabulous for all the 5 kids.

Poor service. Took 45 minutes for our order to come.My mate who is a vegetarian, ordered a bean calzone and I a chicken one. The waitress switched them around. I asked if we had the right ones and even then she insisted they were the correct ones. Unfortunately he got a chicken one.Would not recommend this place.

Staff seemed overworked so the service was inconsistent and lacking attention to detail. Pizza was very average: doughy and carelessly put together. Will give them the benefit of the doubt because it’s Christmas

Good Friday. Good food. Good find. Wandering the mostly closed streets of Whanganui we found the well-named mint. The breakfast burrito and haloumi stack are shown below and were delicious. L’affaire from Wellington supply the beans. Recommended.

Really great food. Nice friendly staff. Even though quite busy we didn't have to wait longer.
