I’ve never had an issue at the Rockshop before, any branch. But bought a bunch of Podcast stuff from Sammy in there today. Best service for sure. Thanks mate

This Rockshop is my favorite! I had to visit 3 rockshops in one day to find a Boss Katana mini amplifier, and the first two stores couldn't find the amp on their shelves. At the Rockshop in Albany the staff are very organized and found the amp quickly, great service. Also these guys have the nicest selection of guitars that I've seen! I am very happy with my purchase.

Relaxed vibe, staff are happy for you to browse, but also very engaging whether you're buying a beginner ukelele or a big ticket item. Honestly, I've avoided rockshops before as I've found the staff condescending, disinterested (or both). But this team know their stuff and are friendly. Will be going back.

Although a refund was provided and appreciated, I feel like it should not have taken that much effort considering the situation. For future references, Pioneer states « We’d class anything with a tax invoice / receipt made out to a bar / nightclub / restaurant etc as “used commercially” ». The staff should be informed of the above and should be able to determine rightfully if someone is using a product commercially or not and not to assume so from a single sentence heard such as « I need it for my class ». To wrongfully charge a customer and misinform them is one thing but to then try and justify yourself and cover up for your mistake in a rude manner makes it a lot worse. I hope we can all learn from this especially considering you did not know about Pioneer’s 3 years warranty until I called this morning. I feel bad for whoever was misled in the past in a similar situation. Ultimately the issue was from the drivers and the whole ordeal could have been fixed in a minute. Know your products.
