Opape Motor Camp
Very tranquil and beautiful place right on the coast. Very well maintained park, lots of green grass, with well kept bathroom and kitchen facilities. Private access to the beach was a highlight, and the owners were very lovely and personable, all round great experience for a couple of Aussie tourists.

Didn't stay here but found it near the beach side on the way. Seems like dogs are allowed so will definitely visit in my next trip. Not too far from Opotiki town.

Opape is an ideal place to visit for some chill time. Beautiful beach with easy access to the Motu dune cycle trails, lovely hosts who are always happy and obliging. We love Opape.

A Hidden Gem! A great place to bring your family and friends. We always come here during the summer. Christmas time is primo. Swimming, fishing or kicking back to enjoy the quiet sounds on the beach. Beryl & Kevin are fantastic host and keep the place clean and hospitable. Thanks Kevin and Beryl. :)

Great services, hot & cold showers, open kitchen with toasters, jug etc. Lots of out seating arrangement. Washing matching, 2x fridge freezers. All public amenities kept very clean.

I see there's been no recent reviews so I feel a duty to write one so people are now informed about what was once such a lovely place to stay when it was run by previous managers, Beryl and Kevin.The description here says child/family friendly" but unfortunately it is anything but.My husband and our four children have been visiting this rustic little campground for about 14 years but sadly will never set foot there again while the new managers

We love this place. Really relaxed motorcanp, everyone is friendly, owners are nice couple, few meters to the beach, not crowded. My fave to go to and escape busy life

Been there three nights recently. beautifully maintained camp sites, you don't need mattress whe you have that smooth green grass in your site.Free hot and I mean hot" showers
