Liz was incredible in every aspect of her service. Liz’s warmth, professionalism & sincerity shone throughout. Our initial meeting, ongoing and timely correspondence and her delivery was beautifully undertaken for our memorial celebration. We were amazed at how quickly Liz understood the essence of who we were as a family and what our loved one had meant to us by weaving perspectives, important details and context into a story that was perfectly written. In addition, some of Liz’s thoughtful suggestions were so beautifully appropriate for our family’s needs. We would recommend Liz in a heartbeat.

We’re so pleased we found Liz Ashworth when we needed a celebrant to create a beautiful memorial service for my husband’s mother. We reside overseas and planned to return to NZ for the service. Liz got directly on to the task and guided us through writing and choosing the material that would best commemorate my mother-in-law’s life as well as advising us on how the service would take place - all by email and phone.As it turned out, a last minute change in NZ entry restrictions meant that we couldn’t attend in person. It was very disappointing but we were confident that with Liz in charge the ceremony could still go ahead. Liz took the service, delivered the eulogy and read some of the tributes for us, all with attention to detail, empathy and style. Those who were there were impressed with her compassion and warmth.

Liz was a fantastic celebrant and made the whole experience effortless for us. She met with us a few times to get to know us and tailor make our wedding ceremony to us and our style. Communication wise Liz is spot on and it definitely put my mind at ease on the day to know everything was well planned out. Such a lovely lady to deal with and we highly recommend her!!

Liz did a wonderful job with our fathers memorial service. She spent time with us getting to know more about Dad, and helped us to make it a lovely peaceful service. Thanks very much Liz

Liz was the perfect celebrant for my mother’s funeral. Her guidance in an unfamiliar area for me, was amazing. She helped me with many aspects of the funeral, not only the celebrant duties, and she showed nothing but compassion and professionalism.Liz certainly went above and beyond in the service she provided. I highly recommend Liz as the perfect person to deal with in a tough situation, if you are looking for understanding, ease of process, reliability, professionalism and a great speaker. Liz was the celebrant at our wedding and she was amazing. So nice and helpful with any pre wedding guidance also. Quick to respond to emails. We changed venue with 2 weeks to go and she was very accommodating at changing her plans to suit. We did also have our wedding on a public holiday. Would highly recommend Liz. Lastly, she did colour coordinate her outfit (after seeking my approval ) to match in with our colour theme and it makes the ceremony photos look great!

Liz was our wedding celebrant - and she really made a huge difference for our night! Johannes and I came together having both already been married and had 4 children between us. We are 'mature' and our children are now all in their 20's, so we decided it was a lovely idea to celebrate our love and whanau by getting married. We wanted something quite low key and informal - Liz was incredible in helping us to really turn our wedding into a unique event that totally suited us. She is genuine, supportive, professional, flexible, available and humourous! Liz gave us some great ideas for our service that we hadn't thought of, and that meant we ended up having a fantastic night that our family and friends are still talking about! Thanks Liz - we highly recommend her and appreciate all she did for us.

Liz was our wedding celebrant and was fantastic. She made all the guests feel welcome and set the mood before I arrived. She spent a long time with us asking questions and finding out about us and put it all together perfectly. My friends said that it was such a lovely ceremony as it was made personal, not just words put together from a previous ceremony! She helped us with our vows and gave us ideas for the day that we hadn’t thought of. So she not only is there performing the ceremony but helps and gives advice with the whole wedding. I highly recommend Liz and can’t thank her enough for making our day so special.

Liz was the celebrant for my Wedding last September. She was very easy to communicate with and helped us achieve the perfect ceremony we were after. She allowed us to have a-lot of input into the words we wanted for the ceremony. She worked closely with us to incorporate our religious beliefs in the way that allowed our ceremony to run smoothly and exactly how we wanted it to.
