Armstrong's Subaru Lower Hutt

Being loyal to the German manufacturers for the past 10 years, I couldn't help to feel uneasy purchasing Subaru. We bought our Outback from Subaru Lower Hutt in June, and can tell it is a phenomenal vehicle. The paperwork part and the finer details done by Lucija was spot on, we were very pleased by her service, that's 5 stars. Because of our experience with Lucija, we just purchased our second vehicle.

Although it is rather expensive, but the service is definitely 5 stars.They check your car thoroughly and in the meantime you can sit comfortably on sofas with a cup of tea or coffee (provided as well) or at a desk. There's also wifi available, so if you want to do some admin work while waiting - good to go!Staff is friendly and approachable.The whole experience is very lush. Recommended :)

Fantastic all round experience. After moving to New Zealand for work, I had to purchase a car. I went to all the local dealerships and quite frankly was underwhelmed by the lack interest, arrogance and rudeness of some of the showroom assistants and finance managers. However, Armstrong Suburu was a totally different experience. Nothing was too much trouble (and I'm not an easy person to please). We purchased a great 2017 Impreza. I'd like to give special mention to Baxter Murray-Hamilton and Clare Bowyer who made the whole process transparent and efficient. Thank you.

I've been coming to lower hutt dealership since its moved to lower hutt from CBD. I've always loved how good the customer service back then. Service is pretty average for a dealership these days but the most irritating thing would be not having an air-conditioning in customer waiting area on a hot summer day. I've just visited service centre and i had a to wait for over 30mins to collect the car sweating my balls off. Can a dealership be this poor not to have air-conditioning?

So far so good. They have kept my finance application open and allowed me to make some adjustments to get my finance over the line.Really lovely service from Rob and the finance team. Looking forward to potentially buying my first hybrid!

Took my car in for an engine noise diagnostic and insurance repair. the inspection was done on a Tuesday, yet it took me ringing Mark the following monday to find out it was done. He told me no issue was found and the next step will to be to do an oil change. they should have known an oil change would not be covered under insurance and let me know, as i did not. No contact was made to my insurance company nor were the repairs approved by them which i figured it was since he was asking me for a go ahead and i had told him it was an insurance claim. The engine flush and oil change to the correct viscosity solved the issue. they made me pay in person upon pickup and i figured my insurance will return to me what was over my excess. i hadnt made an insurance claim before so i was not aware mark had done things completely wrong. in the following 3 weeks i contacted my insurance company many times, and they said they hadn't heard a thing from subaru. i contacted subaru at least 3 or 4 times where the receptionist just said oh no! i will get mark to call"
