I got instal pro to look at three of my rental properties . I wanted them to check that they were up to the healthy home standards . One of their inspectors went out to all three homes and informed me of what needed doing which I then happily paid over 10k to have the work done . I was then issued 3 certificates stating my homes did meet the healthy home standards . Just recently I had work done to my home and another check done for healthy home standards and was told it didn't meet the standards as I needed ground vapour barrier . I contacted instal pro and asked why this was missed when their inspector should have seen this . The manager told me I didnt ask for this to be done . I trusted their inspector to tell me what needed to be done and paid over 10k to have the work done . Their inspector quoted my other homes correctly and I had to instal ground vapour barrier in another home which he informed me of . Im disapointed after paying such a large amount and being issued healthy home certificates trusting their work standards . They now want another almost $700 to instal the ground vapour barrier in my home . I think this is unfair and not professional to put the blame back on me when I employed their inspector to advise me on my homes and what needed doing . I won't recommend anyone or use this company again .

I have not seen a more disgusting attitude towards a client in any company. Firstly, the manager is not competent in the possible implementation of services - my request for floor insulation with a class of more than 1.8 was refused, although the installers themselves were able to install two layers of 1.8 each. But the work was stretched out for a whole month, with repeated reminders by me of the need to complete the installation. In some places, instead of two layers, one layer is laid. I am totally unhappy with the contact with this company.
