Just spent $2100 for 4 nights which didn't include parking. This was another add-on. For this money I managed to have the Executive Suite with a Lake view and some food.Lake view was there if you moved the furniture around. If you look out the window to your right you can see your other window that is boarded up for the shower side wall. The toilet is in the same room as the bed and not far from the pillow. Pretty horrible as the sound echos and rebounds around the entire room. You will get to know your partner really well. Not a good design! Soap dispenser was watered down to finish off the toilet experience. The TV is dated to be kind. TV watching was done on my own phone using my cell data as the WiFi is pretty poor for anything but general searching.Bar & Grill is way overpriced for the quality of your fare. Don't expect 5-Star but do expect heavily salted and a flat Venison Wellington crust.Dial-In service was hit and miss. Wrong version of a meal and cold chips warming as you got to the center.Overall if Pullman Rotorua did not have a lovely reception and housekeeping team you would have quite a few unhappy people.Clipping the ticket on everything and providing 4-Star service at best whilst claiming to be 5-Star will not work.We came for my wife's 50th and our anniversary. A place to remember for all of the wrong reasons. That's right, our car got stolen on the second night...

We stayed here three nights. Our room was a disabled set up, however the layout isn’t altogether user friendly. The hand soap isn’t near the basin and there is no where to place your towel in easy reach. Only one staff member acknowledged me in the three days that we stayed. Even though as we returned to the hotel in the afternoon each day. I would make eye contact with reception staff and smile at that staff member. Parking was an issue. The cost for valet parking is $50 per day. So we parked off site, using the allocated zone to drop off our luggage only. The day we checked out my husband went to collect the car and bring it to the pickup/drop off zone.Whilst I checked us out and waited with our luggage. However, there were cars parked in that zone for well over the allocated time allowed. So he couldn’t park in front of the hotel for us to load our car. We ended up having to drag our luggage 200m to where he had to park. Not a good system if only a few adhere to it. Probably won’t stay here again, due to the price of our room and then the issues we encountered. Sorry

The Pullman had one of the most stunning views of the lake, our suite had a panoramic view and it was just beautiful. The location is excellent with pretty much all of the restaurants located less than a 5 minute walk away. The staff were very helpful in recommending places and sorting taxis etc for us. The suite offered a lot of privacy and had an incredibly large shower.

The bathroom design in the rooms of this hotel is simply terrible and is enough reason to avoid this hotel unless you’re staying alone. Open-plan bathrooms are common in hotels overseas and make the room feel bigger, but the toilet really needs to have a proper door, not just a piece of glass that doesn’t even go all the way up to the ceiling and has gaps on both sides. It’s like the designer wasn’t thinking clearly or the budget was really tight. The person using the toilet has very little privacy and if anyone goes to the toilet in the night it’s highly disturbing for other people sleeping.Other than the disastrous toilets, the hotel is fine. Our room was clean and well appointed. The location is convenient and staff were friendly. Buffet breakfast is good except you have to pay extra if you want a proper coffee. Parking at $49 per night is very expensive, we took our chances and parked on the street instead.

This is the number 1 location for a hotel in Rotorua. Walking distance to the main shopping, food & both of the spa/pools (but far enough to never smell them).Rooms are modern 5-star, spacious, open plan/concept (though private).. and clean, new, etc.Breakfast is incredible; no cheap ‘continental’ breakfast here; 5-star buffet with options regardless of your breaky preferences.Staff were incredible too, lots of friendly greetings, lots of ‘special moments’ from the staff, local tips, and they found 3 baby toys that we lost & are getting them back to us!The gym was great too!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was impressed by the clean, modern décor and welcoming atmosphere. The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and taken care of throughout my stay.

The most enthusiastic and welcoming front desk staff. The location is perfect for exploring the city center on foot. The breakfast is hearty. The rooms are spacious and are as well decorated as a basement office hallway. The bath towels will soon have a second life as sandpaper. The room safe did not work and let us know by beeping every two minutes all night long. The cost of $49 a day for parking seems to be a Kings ransom. Overall I’d probably look for somewhere else.

The hotel is modern and clean. The bedrooms not to my liking, the open bathroom leaves you with no privacy and everyone using the room has to participate in your ablutions. Service not very attentive, felt like many staff members were new and not well trained. Expensive for what you get +$50 per night to park the car is too much.Location is very good but I wouldn't book again
