This place is an amazing hidden paradise if you love plants!

This store is beautiful, their plants and planters are well curated. This weekend I saw a banner on their website it said buy one pot and get one free. I cancelled my plans for the day and drive over an hour to the store. I talked to a sales lady as when I got to the store their signage had a brand name on the sign that was not on the website banner. I showed her on my phone and she said it was wrong and she would update it. She told me that because I had seen it and brought it to their attention they would honor it. I selected the two planters that I wanted, I was then told that it would not be honored as those were premium pots. I thought all of their pots were premium, that seems to be the point of the store. There was other things I wanted but I found myself not wanting to support a store with shady business practices.

fabulous way to spend an evening with friends while learning something new. You get to take home 2 Kokodamas after the skillful instruction from 2 lovely girls. And also while enjoying some great nibbles & a drink all in a stunning setting. I’ll be back for one of the other classes

Just like walking into Babylon Store, the kokedama course was enchanting, welcoming, and left you feeling like you have discovered something very cool! Jaime, who runs the course, is delightful. She walks you through the process in calm relaxed way, so even the most unaccomplished gardener (me), will leave with a new skill. The break, during which a feast was laid out, was a great opportunity to properly connect with the others on the course and strategise on how to tackle the second creation. I also made a mental note of who was going to get a gift voucher to do their own course. My mum, an avid gardener, my sister-in-law who loves anything creative, and a friend who just has everything else. I proudly left with two very beautiful kokedama – I had intended to give them away, but in the end couldn’t part with them, however I note one has migrated into the teenage bedroom…
