Have been twice. Really friendly service and yum food. Worth the price! I was waiting outside with my dog, as I wasn’t sure if they were dog friendly. They came out and said i could come in since it was so cold, which i really really appreciated. I have a small dog who i held the whole time and all the staff members said hi to him and made us feel very welcome. Also, the food was amazing. My Chinese parents even loved the food and they usually stick to chinese since they grew up in China and aren’t used to Western food. So overall, everything was awesome. Definitely recommend this place!

Food was amazing, best burgers we’ve ever had, fries were crispy as were the wings but it’s a shame the service is pretty bad, food came out quick but the guy at the bar taking orders was rude and grumpy throughout especially when my partner asked for a takeaway container which was a real hassle for him and threw it at her, the lady who took our glasses gave us a bad look when we said thank you. The other lady at the bar with the blonde hair was nice though. The venue itself is also epic but just a shame the service is not

Group of 4 of us went out for dinner here on a Tuesday night. 1 FOH staff was good. The other gave attitude towards us all from the moment we walked in. This carried on throughout our stay. Eftpos machine had issues (not their fault - understandable) but 1 of us were double charged and the same staff member told us it didn't happen and she knows this 100% because she already checked. She then gave more attitude trying to belittle us for some reason, which annoyed us and made us look into it. Upon us showing that there were in actual fact 2 transactions on the bank account, she got ashamed and disappeared from the table quickly. She nearly broke down a couple of times and then turned around to say it was due to the way she was being talked to. A refund was given in the end. A very bizarre experience, as we didn't go out that night just to be mocked and treated in this manner. FOOD WAS DELICIOUS.

If you're a burger and beer fanatic, give this gem a try. Minimalist selection of really tasty food which appears as if by magic, minutes after you odered it.Staff were really friendly and accommodating, and it has a pool table too. Well priced burgers and great atmosphere.

Received a gobsmacking “chicken fried” cauliflower burger combo from Palace! Lydia gave excellent service and was able to provide awesome suggestions for food and drink. The Old Bay seasoned fries were a tasty cajun treat. The burger had a perfect spice level offering enough heat without leaving you with the need to chug water! The portion was generous leaving me full without feeling as though I’d hurt myself.Palaces menu clearly states items as Vegan, Vegan Option, Vegetarian, and Gluten Free. Sincerely appreciate the variety of options!Located on Maunganui Rd, it was perfect walking distance to the beach and shopping. Would definitely visit again. Thanks, Palace for a delicious meal!

Great service, helpful advice. The Hoedown & Classic Chicken burgers hit the spot, and the crinkle cut fries were amazing, as was the mystery mayo! Great range of beer and a cool place to relax, perfect for waiting for the food order.

My mates and I came to tga for waitangi long weekend and found this place. Burgers are really nice. Maple butter basket (chicken wings) are to die for and deep fried onions rings sprinkled with spring onions were real good too. Palace was so good we came here twice. Highly recommended
