Echo Lodge

This place is amazing, the rooms have everything you need and everything is brand new. Breakfast is tasty and the host is always very helpful and lovely. Can highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Echo Lodge. The rooms are beautiful as well as comfortable with a nice deck overlooking the beautiful yard that's full of amazing birds. Breakfast here is superb as is the hospitality. I highly recommend a stay at Echo Lodge.

I had to head to Auckland for a funeral and needed somewhere close to Dills.This is one of those little hidden hideaways. 5 minutes drive from Albany and Rosedale, it’s quiet, ample parking, and is run by the nicest lady you’ll ever meet, and she’s even a whizz in the kitchen!The rooms are modern, complete with shower / toilet facilities, and a heat pump in each as well as a desk and great wifi. Rooms are similar size to an executive room in any hotel.There’s a great view of the surrounding area out the back, complete with a deck and comfy chairs. It’d be amazing out the back of there was a bbq for during summer (I didn’t look, but hey, feature request!)There’s a communal lounge in the entry where you can meet friends and chat (or have a beer!) if you don’t want them going to your room, it’s warm and dry and I’ll definitely be back!

An oasis in Auckland - what a spot! Brand new, super clean, beautifully furnished and finished accommodations with comfortable beds and plenty of extra touches. Such good value. Host Qi, her husband and mother in law are wonderful, generous hosts. Can’t recommend highly enough

A perfect retreat within Auckland, Chi's place was beautiful, very clean, quiet, with a personal friendly welcome and orientation to the lodge. We felt at home and would love to stay there again. I definitely recommend this place!
