The Great Escape Waiheke

Karen did a fantastic job of organizing this event for my group of 18, with only a week's notice and in the midst of Covid. She was always quick to respond and helpful with transfers and insider tips on the island. My colleagues were definitely slightly apprehensive at first, but once we got going everyone had such a brilliant time. It was team building without feeling forced or awkward, which these things often can. The real highlight of this event was the flexibility that it offered, there was such a range of challenges that really encouraged everyone to get involved.I would definitely recommend this event for any large group on Waiheke, it was the perfect way to see the island and have a lot of fun doing it. Thanks Karen for such a great day!

Organised this for our office Christmas party and we had an absolute blast! With all of the Covid lockdowns and working from home situations or team felt a bit disjointed and this was the perfect activity to bring everyone back together.Many laughs were had the whole day and smiles from ear to ear on all team members. We can't thank the team at The Great Escape enough for organising an incredible day for our team.

Booked for a company event - far exceed our expectations. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the challenges and laughing at the photo evidence afterwards. Would have no hesitation in recommending this for a group event.

The Great escape was just the best. Our team at Foodstuffs had an awesome experience. It was so smooth right from booking the experience until the end. Love the activities they provided. We have used them in 2020, and because they were wonderful, we just used them yesterday for our work Christmas party team bonding activities. You won't be disappointed with them, lots of fun.

Thank you so much for organising an amazing Christmas party for our team (14 people)! The Great Escape team were very informative from the get go and helped with any small or large queries I had along the way.The day itself went so smoothly - we were met off the ferry and headed to the Ahipao cafe for morning tea/ briefing before we divided up into 2 teams to explore the island and compete against each other in the Island Challenge.We finished the day at The Heke for food, drinks and the prizegiving. The food at the Heke was delicious & service was great. The prizegiving itself was great and presentation of our photos was great (which we got to keep afterwards).I would 100% recommend this for any company event.

Thank you for putting on such a great memorable team building event for us! We booked the great escape for our team Christmas party (45 people) and ended up postponing until January. Everyone had such a fun time, perfect mix of activities, the drivers were great and Karen was amazing to work with, every detail was covered perfectly and she was super responsive throughout us planning and rearranging. We will be laughing at the photos of this one for a long time and hope to come back again!!
