Awesome cabin/camping experience for school and other groups. Fabulous setup. Fantastic friendly and accommodating staff.

A fabulous site for the camp.Our small group of youth kids stayed at the lodges for church youth camp. The Lodges are very clean and well-equipped having a beautiful sea view. Ideally, it’s good for family gatherings as well. Welcoming and kind staff. We all enjoyed our stay at the camp.

We had a retreat for a group of young adults in Oct 2022 and booked out the lodges on the hill for the weekend. Ben who looked after the site always came to our aid at a drop of a hat and had great communication and respected our privacy. There was so much to do that's either free or very affordable. The lodges were very clean and the view was amazing. Will definitely recommend to others and will visit again.

Our Whole church went to the Moirs Point Camp:) It was Great experience and it would be good for the congregational retreat or camp. Our church members all loved the place and did activities like Kayaking and Water slide, no matter what ages were, they all enjoyed it:) Want to try different activities like Archery next time:). Thank you Moirs Point:) Loved our stay! And will surely visit again:)

Moirs Point is an excellent place for having outdoors activities with medium-size (up to 50 people or so) groups of children and young adults.There are decent accommodations for the kids and very good accommodations for the adults in charge. The central communal building is spacious and the main kitchen is fabulous. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained.The place offers a variety of activities like archery, obstacle course, a huge water slide, etc.The only downside is that there is no direct/quick access to the beach.

Fantastic views, comfortable stay, and lovely manager is all I can say! Our church has been coming to the Moirs Point Mangawhai Christian camp lodges annually for 3 years now, and we have never been disappointed. Honestly, I wanted to keep this place a secret to ourselves (reduce some competition for booking haha) but the lodges are definitely a beautiful place to stay for anyone!!! You will love it.

We were there (10 of us) for Anniversary Weekend. We were very impressed with the batch and the space it provided. Equipped with everything a family might need in the kitchen. A great place to stay.

A great experience at Moirs Point Camp! We are the Pacific Island Law Students Association at the University of Auckland and we held our annual camp at Moirs Point. Ben was very flexible when making our booking, he had excellent communication, was easy to talk to, and made the experience one to remember. We loved the facilities offered at Moirs Point. The camp was clean, as was described, and very much worth the value. The large field area allowed for great outdoor games, as well as the campfire both indoor and outdoor. The food was delicious and one of the best parts. All students had a great time, the location was not too far from Auckland City, and we loved the welcome feeling when we arrived at camp. Thank you, Ben and the team at Moirs Point.

Our group of ladies enjoyed a fabulous week at Moirs Point camp where we stayed in one of the lodges. The lodge was very clean, airy bedrooms with crisp linen, with a well-equipped full kitchen, comfortable beds, and it felt like a home away from home. The views from the lounge and deck will make a day indoors also very relaxing and enjoyable.Ben was prompt in his communication and accommodative to our requests. We enjoyed the water slide and had a go on the outdoor equipment and outdoor props.  We had a wonderful weekend and will come again to stay. Thank you, Ben, for your kind hospitality.

This is a great site for group bookings, our cabin had 6 rooms (2 rooms with double beds, 2 rooms with 2 single beds, 2 rooms with 3 single beds - all beds were comfortable, warm and cozy, with clean and fresh linen, pillows and duvet for witer, there are towel dryers and little coil heaters for those who feel the need for extra heat) 2 toilets, 2 showers (good water pressure), 1 main lounge area with open plan working kitchen (fridge, 4 burner filament stove, dishwasher), it also has a washing machine if you are wanting to do laundry. The facility has a heating and cooling system and is versitile for staying through different seasons.The site has beautiful views, a campfire and is close to the beach, sand dunes and the local markets. There is also a kids park and a shooting range for young adults nearby.Overall a great and excellent place. Would highly recommend staying at this place.
