Horizon Radiology - Remuera

Lady at reception is so rude. Needs to smile more, people can pick up on a bad attitude/vibe. Rude on the phone and in person. They need to listen before responding, didn't get to finish my sentence and ended up correcting call centre as well.

Lovely, caring, efficient, friendly and accommodating staff, especially Rima, the Radiologist. Thanks very much for the free services I received at Horizon Radiology.

Very unreliable clinic. I made a booking a month in advance only to be informed a week before my anatomy scan, that they cannot do it (without any reasons). When asked to try and accommodate this appointment in another clinic, any time that may have worked for me seemed fully booked. I now have to call my obstetrician , find another clinic, that is available, bother my obstetrician to send referral elsewhere and bend over backwards, when all I did was organised myself and my booking in plenty of time. Lady on the phone was not helpful at all.

The Rating Speaks for it self. Reception was very rude. Absolute disrespectful, please go somewhere don’t use this poor service

Went for wife's pregnancy growth scan on 10/01/2023.Not so great service. Nurse doing the scan seems to be in hurry. He rushed the scan all the way through. And the scan images were not clear, as if they are using old technology or because of rushing through scanning.NOT SO IMPRESSED.

An absolute horrible experience I'm literally still shaking and shocked at the service I received today at Horizons radiology on Lunn Ave, Remuera. I went in there to have an x-ray done for my son. As soon as I got there a man greeted me and asked me for my form as I handed it over he immediately asked for payment so I got my card out and thought to myself this usually happens after the service. Anyway, he said when you're ready" referring to payment all the while he was fiddling on the computer asking me questions so I must have got distracted and didn't realise payment didn't go through. I went to sit down and then I got up and asked for a receipt to which he responded - "what receipt? you haven't paid? - just calm down..." in such a rude manner. There was no need to reply with such rudeness just say "sorry you haven't paid..." But this was not the end of the horrible exchange. By that point I said I am not happy with this service to which he responded "what service should I provide you??? should I do the scan or not?". I found him aggressive and intimadating and in shock I just wanted to get over done with and leave. I had my 2 school age boys with me and they did not need to witness such behaviour. Horrible service. I paid for the x-ray but he seemed to think he can talk to his customer any way he likes. If I could rate it zero I would. His name was Luke."

Withholding medical information that still hasn’t been sent to my doctor 4 week after my ultra sound, will be seeking legal advice from family lawyer.

Be warned… they go to lunch at 12 for an hour. This was not mentioned on their website. So we turned around and went to their Sylvia Park address and discovered they don’t do X-rays. Back to Lynn Ave…. Now there’s a massive queue. Really upsetting. It’s no wonder they have a huge notice saying aggression will not be tolerated. I bet there are a lot of upset people.

Very bad experience with the reception lady (lia) very very rude! Very quick to say no without even listening. Not helpful with not just me but with the other 2 other asian ladies. Filed complaint with her manager today.
