Clifton Glamping

Had literally the best most relaxing time. The location is actually really convenient to lots of wineries (elephant hill) and the beach. I'd probably hire an e bike next time as it's great location for the bike tracks. Very peaceful and so nice to come back and cook a meal on the deck and enjoy the serenity. Everything was perfect couldn't fault it! We'll be back.

One of the most beautiful, relaxing and idyllic holidays we have ever had. Our only regret was not staying longer. We will definitely do a minimum of three nights nights next time. We stayed in the beautiful Toetoe Retreat and it was luxurious, comfortable and relaxing. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I cannot rate or recommend the Kowhai retreat enough. The location is something out of a dream. The perfect place to come and relax. The hosts have done an exceptional job.

Staying in the Toe Toe Retreat at Clifton Glamping was such a relaxed and refreshing experience, from sunrise to sunset. Listening to the bird song, the gentle cascade of the stream, the distant roll of the ocean and the magical views lifts and encourages your spirit. The DIY menu from Little Black Bird Eatery added a further dimension to our first glamping adventure. We highly recommend Clifton Glamping for a tranquil experience. Pure bliss!

This was our second time to Clifton Station and we loved every minute of our stay. The tranquility of the Toetoe glamp site is complete with luxury linen, beautiful bouquets of flowers and peaceful views of rolling hills. We spent plenty of time sipping on yummy wine and relaxing - including using the outdoor tub! Thank you Lucia and Tom.

Tom and Lucia have totally nailed what the glamping experience should be about. Private location (with a beautiful aspect over the trickling river to enjoy sundowners), top quality fixtures and fittings (including a very warm, large and comfortable bed), well considered ‘they thought of everything’ touches (including delicious breakfast provisions), and a carefully curated set of decorative items that make you feel like you’re somewhere very special. Just the way the handbook is put together shows how brilliantly Tom and Lucia know what people want from a romantic glamping trip - a top quality guide on where to go, what to do, and where to eat - just perfect. Marvellous escape. You know you're somewhere special when you get torrential rain and you still have the most magical, cosy, enriching experience... bubbles baths in the rain = Bliss!

Had an amazing winter getaway at Clifton Glamping. It is a wonderful setting with great facilities like fires (inside and out) and outside bath. A truely comfortable, warm and relaxing night with the sound of the river all you can hear. Woke to the sun streaming in and a lovely breakfast. Thanks Clifton Glamping!

Absolutely amazing. You basically get your own isolated plot of land with everything you could want provided for you. Our only regret was not staying longer. The Tent itself is like a miniature high-quality hotel room with a kitchen, balcony, fireplace, and everything needed for a stay. There's lots of choices for breakfast with the food provided so you won't go hungry in the morning. You're surrounded by land and views so it's a totally private experience. We've been glamping before, but this is honestly a whole other level. Near the beach and wineries. Wholeheartedly recommend this place.

We had three relaxing days in these amazing tents. It certainly didn’t let us down at all it was perfect. Beautifully positioned and immaculately presented inside the tents. Everything was thought of and more. Breakfast was great although we did take our own bacon. Kitchen was well stocked. Shower outside was amazing as was the bath tub. Lucia was very helpful and went out of her way to sort any issues we had. Highly recommend Clifton Glamping relaxing and peaceful experience. I’m sure we will be back.
Wineries were wonderful as was the cafe Hygge just on the beach down from the campsite was excellent.
